SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of improving the visibility and ranking of a website in search engine results pages (SERPs).
SEO can be done through on-page SEO and off-page SEO.
On-page SEO
On-page SEO refers to the optimization of the content and code of a website to make it more search engine friendly. This includes things like:
- Using relevant keywords throughout the website
- Creating high-quality content that is informative and engaging
- Optimizing the title tags and meta descriptions of each page
- Using structured data markup
- Improving the loading speed of the website
Off-page SEO
Off-page SEO refers to the activities that are done outside of the website to improve its ranking in search engines. This includes things like:

- Participating in social media
- Submitting the website to directories
- Writing guest posts
- Creating infographics and other sharable content
On-page SEO is generally considered to be more important than off-page SEO, but both are important for achieving high search engine rankings.
